Image Size and Filesize
Images must be exactly the size you specify as your ad space in
width,height.
Images may be up to 300 bytes per 100 pixels for small images. For
images over 1000 pixels, you must optomize them as much as possible
to keep the file size small. This is for your and the visitor's
advantages. You image loads faster if small!
Determining the x,y locations
There are 2 ways to purchase pixels: The Easy way and the Hard
way.
The Easy Way
On our homepage, click the pixel block you want. You will be brought
to this page and the Left-Top field will be filled in. Then just
determine how wide and high you want you ad to be.
The Hard Way
Please note that the upper-left corner of our advertising grid is
defined as location 0,0, and the lower right is 999,1999.
Example: Lets assume you want an ad that is 100 pixels wide by
50 pixels high. Lets also assume and you want the ad located in
the center of the grid horizontally, and just below The CarPC
Store ad.
To satisfy those conditions, you would enter 450,30 in the the
Left-Top field, and 100,50 for the Width,Height field.
How did I figure that out? The grid is 1000 pixels wide, and half
that is 500. Your ad is 100 pixels wide, so half your ad goes
to the left of the center of the grid. So 500-(100/2) = 450 (left).
The Top of the grid is 0. The CarPC Store ad is 3 blocks high,
so that is 30 pixels. To summerize, you have 450 left, 30 Top,
100 Width, and 50 Height. Now just arrange those values correctly
and you get 450,30 for Left,Top, and 100,50 for Width,Height.
